Ethan Minkin joins Ballard Spahr
Ethan Minkin, formerly a partner with Kutak Rock, has joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the Phoenix office. Minkin specializes in bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and receiverships.
Phyllis Hawkins & Associates, Inc. handles permanent individual and group placements of attorneys in law firms and corporations in Arizona.

Sara Ransom, a 2005 graduate of the University of Arizona, has joined Ballard’s litigation group. Sara was formerly a litigation associate with the Phoenix office of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
Kurt Donnell, formerly with the Columbus office of Jones Day, has joined the corporate department at Ballard. Kurt is a 2006 graduate of the University of Virginia.
Judge Murguia currently serves as a United States District Judge for the
District of Arizona. The position was created in February when Judge Michael Daly Hawkins took Senior status.
Luke Narducci, who will lead and develop the Environmental and Natural Resources practice along with twelve other attorneys have moved from the Phoenix office of Bryan Cave to the Phoenix office of Polsinelli Shughart. Other partners include Troy B. Froderman, Brian K. Moll, Michael Ford, Mitchell J. Klein, Margaret B. LaBianca, and Barton D. Day. Joining as Of Counsel are John Burnside and Anthony Merrill. Associates include Tiffany J. Andersen, Jonathan Brinson, Megan A. Heald and Maribeth M. Klein.
Michael Migliaccio, formerly an associate with Snell & Wilmer, has joined the Bankruptcy group at Quarles.
