    Natalie Thorsen Harris

    Managing Member

    Natalie is an Arizona-licensed attorney who has successfully placed partners, associates, groups, and various in-house attorneys here in Arizona. Prior to partnering with Phyllis Hawkins, Natalie owned her own professional development business. Natalie previously served as the compliance director for a private company, and as a litigation associate in a mid-sized law firm.

    Natalie is committed to developing long-term relationships and understanding the needs of both candidates and clients. As an active member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC), which upholds the highest standards in the legal search industry, Natalie is devoted to providing fair, ethical, and confidential service.


    Natalie is a fifth-generation Arizonan. She earned a bachelor’s in history from Arizona State University, and her law degree from Brigham Young University. At BYU Law, Natalie was a Dean’s Fellow, received the Faculty Award for Meritorious Achievement and Distinguished Service, and interned at Oxford College in England for a professor of international law.

    Nationally recognized as Arizona’s premier recruiter, Phyllis is respected among Arizona’s companies and law firms as an expert in the Arizona legal market and a consummate professional. Phyllis was the first legal recruiter in Arizona, launching Phyllis Hawkins & Associates in 1985. Prior to establishing PHA, Phyllis was introduced to the legal recruitment specialty while working for an established Phoenix personnel agency.

    Phyllis’ many years of honest and confidential work with candidates and clients has given her an extraordinary knowledge of the legal community. She has placed hundreds of attorneys in rewarding positions with companies and law firms. Phyllis has also confidentially brokered numerous law firm and legal practice group mergers.

    Phyllis is a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC) and served as President of NALSC from 1994-1996.

    Phyllis earned a master’s in education at Arizona State University, and completed post-graduate work in counseling and educational psychology. Her husband is a federal judge.
